Eekels Technology, possibly a new name for you on the yacht market, whilst still a familiar one. You have probably come across Eekels Technology on several occasions already without even realising it. It is the company behind Marpower Shore Converters, of which Eekels has already delivered more than 1000 units in the yacht-building sector. Eekels has also supplied the electrical system for Icon Yachts, among others, for several years now.
Our deliverables
That gave Eekels a taste for more, and in 2020, Eekels Technology took over the former De Keizer Marine Engineering, thereby making a major step on the yacht market. Eekels’ technology is the perfect fit for the megayachts sector. If you also take the specific yachts knowledge and expertise of the former De Keizer Marine Engineering in the areas of consultancy, engineering, project management, installation, and service and maintenance, a powerful company is created for this market.
Eekels is the place to go for your complete electrical installation. We have specialists in the areas of energy generation and distribution, electrical propulsion, energy management, vessel automation, shore power connection, lighting, audio, video, communication, IT and camera security systems, so Eekels is able to take on the complete electrical scope for building a yacht. Eekels also provides its expertise when the yacht is in operation. Our Service and Refit department is always ready to support the crew of the yacht whilst the vessel is in operation, for maintenance and even in emergencies.
Eekels’ clientele primarily consists of renowned megayacht builders in the Netherlands and beyond. With over 350 delivered yachts, Eekels’ professionals have proven themselves in the yacht-building sector. Our business units Yachting, eXperience and Systems wish to introduce themselves to you so that you too can experience the technologies and professionals of Eekels Technology!
